A UNESCO World Heritage Site
Established in 1885, Banff National Park is Canada’s first and now oldest National Park. The park is visited every year by people from every corner of the world taking in the natural beauty, the 1,600 kilometers of hiking trails and the 3 world-renowned ski resorts to name a few.
Banff National Park is located within the current territories of the Treaty 6, 7, and 8 First Nations, as well as the Métis Homeland. The Indigenous peoples have utilized the lands and waters of Banff for millennia for sustenance, ceremony, trade, and travel, contributing to the rich cultural heritage of the area.
The Banff Collection by InnVest Hotels is proud to operate hotels in the national park and welcome guests and tourists to these stunning lands. It is our commitment to honour, to uphold, to educate and to preserve the legacy of the Indigenous community and their picturesque land that we are so fortunate to experience every day.
